Mobilize to showcase BEVs for limousine and taxi services at the IAA

Renault’s mobility brand Mobilize is presenting a fully electric limousine for individual passenger transport with limousine and taxi services. Mobilize Limo is offered in selected international markets at flexible tariffs as a complete mobility and service package for commercial and private driving services.

The world premiere of the electric car will take place on September 8th at the IAA Mobility in Munich. A test fleet of 40 vehicles will then go into operation in preparation for the fleet launch at the end of 2022. The fully electric four-door sedan was specially designed for taxis, private rental vehicles and fleet use. In addition, it will only be available via a subscription service that is intended to provide “all-inclusive mobility solution packages”.

In terms of technical specifications, the Mobilize Limo uses a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 60 kWh and offers 280 miles (WLTP certification pending). The electric sedan is also compatible with the most common types of AC and DC charging systems. It can also be charged at a normal socket. With fast charging, a range of 250 km can be charged in 40 minutes. The energy is converted into a powerful 110 kW (150 PS) electric drive with 220 Nm torque and a time of 0-100 km / h fed from 9.6 seconds and a top speed of 140 km / h The performance can be adjusted via the three driving modes “Eco”, “Normal” and “Sport”.

“The first Mobilize model, Limo, is the new brand’s answer to the development of the ride hailing market. This offering, which combines a vehicle and flexible services, illustrates Mobilize’s ability to meet the changing needs of vehicle users, “said Clotilde Delbos, CEO of Mobilize, adding:” It also demonstrates a unique expertise that Renault’s experience results in the group in mobility services and the strength of RCI Bank and Services in financing. “

Gilles Normand, Director of Mobilize Vehicle added: “Limo’s electric motor is your most important asset. That makes it ideal for use in cities where ride-hailing is very popular. ”Mobilize itself was introduced earlier this year when Renault was establishing a new strategy for electric vehicles.
