A Bentley Flying Spur – which sells for over $ 200,000 in the U.S. – yesterday continued the tradition of last year of expensive luxury cars in spectacular accidents and was involved in a massive pile-up yesterday.
The accident occurred on January 2 at around 4 a.m. outside the night market on Preah Sisovath Blvd near Wat Phnom, Khandon Penh, Phnom Penh.
Sources say the luxury car was traveling at high speed in a south-north direction when it suddenly lost control and crashed into a string of tuk-tuks, motos, and eventually a house – injuring at least 7 people.
The Bentley Flying Spur is described by its manufacturers as combining “effortless performance, sleek design, and masterful technology to create a car that is as graceful as it is dynamic. Whether you prefer to be the driver or the driver, consider it the ultimate luxury sedan. “
The car was reportedly driven by a Chinese couple who were arrested immediately after the incident.
After the incident, the police came to the site to take action and took the car to the Phnom Penh Police Commission’s main traffic bureau.
