Covid cases may start to decline in Arkansas state, but still not enough to proceed with plans for a Kid’s College fundraiser. The University of Arkansas Hope Texarkana Foundation made the difficult decision to postpone the 15th Annual Beads, Bags, and Bangles Kids’ College Fundraiser due to the number of COVID-19 cases in the area.
It will now take place on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Barn at Willow Oak Acres in Prescott, Arkansas.
An evening of live music, games and shopping
This is a fun event with this year’s theme ‘Boatin’. There will be live music, themed games and shopping. Oh, and make sure you’re dressed in your best water or boating attire, because it’s all about setting sail to help kids attend Kids’ College.

At the March event there will be a drawing for a chance to win a dinner for two. Drawdown tickets are $50 each and only 100 are available.
Other great items up for grabs include: a pair of John Hardy black sapphire/black spinal earrings and a John Hardy hammered silver/black spinal pendant necklace.
Proceeds will go toward scholarships and supplies for the 2022 Kids’ College and Camp Save-A-Life programs.
