Bumped into Jura-style high jinks in a beautiful, tree-littered setting?

You may want to have your running shoes ready and not wear anything too shiny or reflective so that you don’t attract the eyes of a bird of prey.

But for many people who love prehistoric adventures that are so thrilling on the big screen, a visit to King Gillette Ranch in Malibu on May 15 is all about relaxing (not running) and a flaky movie theater to enjoy.

Jurassic Park is stomping on the drive-thru scene, a notable sign that one of Southern California’s biggest outdoor film franchises is back and ready to entertain itself in airy and spacious surroundings.

That series? It would be the street food cinema, the taco-it-up, enjoying music and recording a movie that has become a staple of summer time over the past decade.

Well, 2020 has changed that pattern for a while, but summer 2021 looks better for safe-watched outdoor activities, including enjoying classic blockbuster and fan-favorite movies.

Note that Jurassic Park will be drive-in pleasure, while movies to come will be personal affairs (just check the schedule).

Those nights attendees will be a long way from each other before the screen appears, and organizers will adhere to a number of security protocols, including contactless check-in.

The chance to enjoy great street food, which has long been a savory centerpiece of the series, is back, as is live music.

As for the films and locations in the 2021 line-up?

Jurassic Park begins May 15th with a T. Rex-sized roar, as mentioned earlier, while Black Panther, Dirty Dancing, and other favorite films are due out in June.

You can buy a ticket for a pod if you want: the price for a pod for two is $ 46, while a ticket for a single adult is $ 23.
